Also known as Qin Jianbang, he is San Gouzi's fifteen-year-old older brother. He is thin, responsible, sensitive, and stubborn. He carries bundles of straw and later cuts Mao Bamboo in the rain to make bamboo rain hats for Xu Jiaojiao. He works alongside his blind father to craft bamboo goods, selling them at modest prices.
