Qiao Yuewei's maternal grandfather, a red capitalist who supported the revolution since the 1930s and donated millions in money and supplies. He arranged Qin Xingye as Qiao Yuewei's fiancé before his death. He left Qiao Yuewei a farm with a spirit spring and a jade bracelet belonging to her mother. He is also referred to as Old Master Qiao.
