The main villain of the novel and Gu Yueyue's newlywed husband. He married Gu Yueyue as a substitute because she resembles the heroine. He is described as handsome with a great body and strong stamina. He is involved in illegal quick-money ventures at sea with his friends and is destined to flee to Hong Kong Island after authorities crack down, where he will build power and return as a ruthless villain. At this point in the story, he has not yet become the full-fledged villain he will later become.
