Grand Councilor and imperial uncle. He wanted to establish the Prince of Jin as Crown Prince because the Prince was completely subservient to him, allowing Pei Wujiu to seize the throne. He attacked Li Yuanke's background, arguing the world might return to the Xiao clan if Li Yuanke became Crown Prince. He was opposed by Grand Tutor Shen and Shen Shixi during the succession struggle.
