Yunyi's grandfather, an elderly man with silver hair and rosy complexion who wears white cotton and linen shirts. He is the head of the Yun family which has a history of nearly four hundred years as collectors in Pingjiang, running pawnshops and collection galleries for generations. He recently asked Yunyi to help collect antiques and was eager to acquire the white jade vase at auction.
