Also referred to as Old Mr. Qing. He is Qingyin's father and a renowned barefoot doctor in Dongcheng District. His medical reputation is legendary among the common folk. Though he had no male heir to continue the family medical tradition, his skills passed to his daughter Qingyin. He raised Qingyin from childhood, teaching her medical knowledge through recitation and practical experience.
