She graduated from high school and works as a Grade 7 clerk earning thirty-seven yuan and fifty fen. She is described as having little interest in studying or taking exams. She is obsessed with the male lead and has been meddlesome in Qingyin's life, giving away Qingyin's inheritance, job opportunity, and properties to benefit the male lead's family. She is the one who persuades Qingyin to drop out of school.
