An experienced physician who runs Luo's Medical Hall. He has practiced medicine for most of his life and is best at setting bones. Initially doubtful when Cao Xiangnan offered to save the drowning child, he was amazed by the CPR technique. He is humble and grateful, wanting to bow to Cao Xiangnan for saving the child. He is skilled in acupuncture, using half-finger-length needles for treatment. He and his family run the medical hall to help the world and save people, treating mostly poor patients who cannot afford medicine. He lives with his wife Zhang Qiao, son Luo Jin, and daughter-in-law Wang Xueji.
