A huge sea monster that is a hybrid of a squid and an octopus, with eighteen tentacles (later described as sixteen tentacles). It has little eyes and can change colors frantically like a neon light. It is described as dumb, holding a big iron rod and making loud banging noises. It has a collecting obsession with shipwrecks. It is hostile towards humans and mermaids, calling Lance a human. The jellyfish previously referred to it as the 'dead squid'. It was dragged away by Wensir's black tentacle.
