Female supporting character. Also called Old Mrs. Ning or Grandmother, she is Ning Sheng's grandmother and the authoritative matriarch of the Ning family. She is straightforward and furious upon learning of Li Yanci's infidelity. She initiated the annulment of the engagement and insisted the Ning family take the initiative to save Ning Sheng's face. She understood Li Yanci's determination since she watched him grow up.
