Chuuya Nakahara, Dazai's former partner who is searching for the missing Dazai. He is loud, expressive, and openly hostile toward Dazai, calling him a jerk and rotten black sludge. Despite his harsh words, he shows genuine care for Ringo by taking her to school on his motorcycle and saving his phone number in her phone to protect her from Dazai's enemies. He is impulsive and tends to shout loudly, as seen when he dramatically declares that Ringo dated a jerk in the café.
