The Emperor, also referred to as His Majesty. He is Mo Qingchen's older brother. He relies on Mo Qingchen for handling delicate matters discreetly. He is aware of Mo Qingchen's growing feelings for Ye Yun and advises him to either pursue her properly or not lead her on. He plans to send Mo Qingchen to Southern Chu when needed.
