A friend of Xie Fangzhu who accompanied the hunting trip. Perceptive and teased Xie Fangzhu about what he and Shen Yingying were doing in the bushes, suspecting something suspicious. He and his wife also found rabbits during the trip. He was the first to try Shen Yingying's stir-fried rabbit and gave her enthusiastic praise, taking back his earlier skepticism.
