Also referred to as Lu Yuening, the second daughter of the Duke Lu household, seventeen years old. She is frail and sickly since childhood, was sent to a convent for two years to recuperate, and now presents herself as a lay Buddhist disciple under Master Hui'an at the Flower Goddess Temple. She and Cui Muzhi are childhood friends with long-standing family ties between their households.
