Also referred to as Yao Hezheng, the Left Censor-in-Chief. He reported Meng Guangshen for embezzlement. His family was exiled to southern Xinjiang by the emperor. He had a deep enmity with Meng Delai. His son Yao Xian was captured and killed by Meng Delai's orders.
