Also referred to as Old Liu or Liu's father. He is An Yanrong's deceased husband who committed suicide in prison less than half a month after being framed by Chen Yang. He is described as mentally fragile and cowardly, choosing to die rather than face the false charges, leaving all debts and responsibility to An Yanrong.
