Also known as Sister-in-law Liu, she is the wife of Company Commander Liu who lives next door to Meng Ying and Lu Tingzhou. She is cheerful, kind, and brought fresh cucumbers and tomatoes to the couple. She felt inferior as an ordinary rural woman among educated people but was delighted by Meng Ying's sincere gratitude. She and her husband are good brothers with Lu Tingzhou.
