Gu Jingyao's wife and mother of Gu Quanzhe. She had always believed Gu Jingyao was dead and raised their son alone, hanging his picture on the wall as a martyr and hero. Upon his return, she discovers his true feelings for Xu Jingya through his letters and diary, which contain no words for her. Initially soft-spoken and gentle, she becomes cold and sarcastic when confronted with his favoritism. She decides to leave him and file for divorce, protecting her son from the painful reality.
