An elderly, wrinkled woman with a ruddy face who suffers from late-stage cancer and Alzheimer's tendencies. Her condition is maintained in a state of temporary recovery by the bug's power, allowing her to live without pain for over a decade before she will die. She sometimes experiences memory lapses and thinks Lin Mei is still in college.
