Son of Old Madam Lai. He and his wife dropped their baskets to help their mother after she fell. He orchestrated the scheme to extort Gu Qiaoqiao by claiming his mother fell while picking huangjing leaves for her. He was shameless in demanding both medical costs and compensation from Gu Qiaoqiao.
