Father of King Ping of Zhou, famously notorious for lighting beacon fires to amuse his concubine Bao Si, which provoked severe consequences for the Western Zhou dynasty. He deposed his reigning empress and her son (King Ping and his mother) and elevated Bao Si and her son to empress and crown prince. He was eliminated by Marquis Shen and foreign forces at Mount Li.
