Head of the Kang family and uncle of Kang Jingming. He is a stout middle-aged man who shouted abuse at Ningxiang Pavilion, claiming the shop was under his deceased sister's name and that Kang Jingming has no skill in perfumery. He attempted to have a servant beaten to death.
