A beggar child of about eleven or twelve years old, actually the son of Gu Quan, a loyal servant of the Prince. His father was killed by bandits while traveling back to their ancestral home in Tongguan after the incident at the Prince's residence. He was ordered by his dying father to find the Prince in Zhiyang County without revealing his identity. He is loyal, clever, and initially reserved but warms up to Ye Ningxin and the Prince.
