The Huo family's large Kabul hound, brought from abroad by Mr. Huo. It has long flowing golden fur that almost touches the ground and is a show-quality specimen, well-trained and gentle with people. It is intelligent and alert, enthusiastically greeting guests with show-dog manners. It has an instinctive hunting dog desire to chase fast-moving objects, which leads to a chaotic encounter with Su Zhe's fighting rooster at the Huo family front gate. Madam Huo dislikes the dog but it is her husband's pet.
