An older technician nearing retirement who serves as the manager of Chunfeng Repair Shop. He is highly skilled at bicycle repair, demonstrated by fixing the injured man's bike in under ten minutes using proper technique (three turns left, three turns right). He has worked at Chunfeng Parts Factory most of his life and has a strong sense of collective honor. He is frustrated by Hu Ping's incompetence and decided to use the incident to kick him out before retiring. He initially dismisses Xin Qi's request to apprentice but allows her to try for free.
