The eldest grandson of the eldest branch (son of Jiang Daxue). Of average aptitude, studied for over a decade but never passed the child scholar examination. At age twenty, two years prior, he returned home and opened a general store. He is sociable and occasionally helps others write letters or compose couplets during festivals.
