Jiang Jiuyue's older brother who, along with his wife Zheng Caixia, plotted to sell one of Jiang Jiuyue's daughters for fifteen taels of silver to help pay for his son Jiang Dalang's wedding gift. He pretended to be warm and welcoming upon Jiang Jiuyue's arrival but was secretly greedy. He went to the fields for work and was the one who carried the bundled child out of the house, unknowingly kidnapping his own nephew Jiang Sanlang.
