Jiang Ning's deceased father. He was of humble origins and served as Huo Pengcheng's Shiye. He died taking a knife for Huo Pengcheng during an assassination attempt. Huo Pengcheng claims he tutored him and helped him pass the Jinshi examination. Had he lived, he could have taken the imperial examinations again and become a Jinshi, which would have elevated his wife and daughter's status.
