The Heir Apparent and son of Su Yunzhu, seemingly in his early twenties, described as handsome and cold-looking. He is deeply in love with the courtesan Lin Yinger and insists on taking her as his concubine despite opposition. In the original novel plot, he later regrets his actions, sees through Lin Yinger's schemes, and poisons his mother Su Yunzhu before embarking on a journey to win back his wife Huo Yudi. Su Yunzhu refers to him dismissively as her cheap/convenient son. He was punished by being sent to the ancestral hall for three days of confinement for violating family rules.
