An eccentric old traditional Chinese medicine doctor from a family of imperial physicians. He had secluded himself deep within an alley and was reluctant to treat anyone. He pretended to sleep when guests arrived and was dismissive and irritable. Despite his rough exterior, he diagnosed Zhao Zhengjun and Sun Shi's conditions as minor problems that could have been fixed sooner if they hadn't waited so long. He had a slight limp while walking himself.
