Hailed by South Korean media as the New Hope of Korean Figure Skating and One of the Few Who Can Defeat Jiu Sheng. Chose Splendid as his Short Program music to indirectly compare himself to Jiu Sheng's junior performance. Suffered from exhaustion during his performance, fell on his 3A attempt, and scored only 79.35 points.
