Zhao Er Nai's son-in-law, a sent-down youth who came to the countryside from Shanghai in the spring of 1970. He married Zhao Er Nai's granddaughter Zhao Fangfang. He is a high school student (not yet graduated) and wanted the elementary school teacher position. He tried to rally the educated youth to support his cause.
