She was picking apples in a tree on Emei Mountain when she dropped one near Shangguan Huai. She knows where the Stone Cyan Flower actually grows, contrary to what the passerby had told Shangguan Huai. She guides him to a cave on the mountain where the Shiqing Flowers are found growing beneath a rock wall. She is described as kind-hearted, sincere, and unrestrained in her laughter. She agrees to accompany Shangguan Huai to the capital after reporting back to her sect.
