An elderly man who has never seen meat prepared the way Lai Yi did. He enjoys stir-fried cured meat and sour spicy shredded potatoes. He has grapes that are collected by town buyers. He allows Lai Yi and Neil to eat imperfect grapes while helping with the harvest.
