A stout, picky man dining at the restaurant. He complains about the local fish dishes and desires the lighter, fresher fish soup from his hometown. After tasting Xie Jiu'er's creation, he is highly impressed, calling it the best fish soup he has ever had. He rewards her with a tael of silver and requests her cooking for dinner, which leads to her hiring.
