Supporting character, Xie Beishen's grandmother. A formidable red capitalist who donated enormous sums to the country and founded several orphanages. She raised Director Li after he was an orphan. She does not want her grandson to marry a local girl and suspects Su Wanwan may have tricked or set up Xie Beishen, similar to what happened with his elder brother years ago. She decided her grandson must return to the capital as soon as possible.
