Also known as Aunt Shan Yao or Medicine Jar. A widow who has been frail since birth. She and her husband fled bandits from her hometown and settled in Yushugou, later assigned to the Sikantzi brigade over 20 years ago. Her husband was killed during the Red Guard turmoil in the city. She has no children and is one of the village's five guaranteed households, receiving basic rations but unable to afford proper medical treatment. She coughs constantly and monthly travels to the county to sell eggs and rations to buy cheap cough medicine.
