Five women in the village who initially spread rumors about Hu Zhaodi at Yang Dahui's instigation, then slapped themselves in apology. Hu Zhaodi gave them dark pills to restore their voices and warned them against further slander. They later helped expose Yang Dahui's plot by spreading the truth throughout the village.
