Male minor character, the husband of Mother Huo and father of Huo Jingye and Taohua. He has a limp from a leg injury sustained years ago. He was initially reluctant about the marriage, saying long ago that it would not work since their son had not returned. He was embarrassed to peek into the bridal chamber on the wedding night but did so when his wife insisted.
