A local ruffian whose uncle is a local gentry/scholar. His mother was a notorious shrew and his father had passed away early. He had a sneaky look and was lazy and unreliable. He had a delayed marriage because no village woman wanted to marry into his family. He harbored resentment after Tao Yiru refused him and let Shen Que beat him, so he returned with two companions to attack Shen Que at night but was easily defeated.
