The daughter of Fang Zhushang the pearl merchant and the first wife of Xu Yiming. She died of illness during Xu Yiming's studies in Jinling. Despite her death, Xu Yiming was willing to let her be buried in the Xu family's plot, and the Fang family gave him the one thousand taels of dowry money they had prepared for her.
