Lin Yong's girlfriend who later becomes his wife. She works at the Dong'an County Textile Mill. She is initially frustrated that Lin Yong's family can't afford a house, meaning they would have to live with his parents after marriage. She is persuaded by Lin Ning's suggestion to have Lin Yong become a live-in son-in-law. She is wary of Lin Ning's intentions but is tempted by the prospect of living independently.
