Female supporting character, the Empress. Originally of consort rank, she was elevated to empress by Emperor Qiande to balance the inner court and prevent any single faction from dominating. Her family holds little prominence, and her younger brother remains merely an external Zhifu. The palace hosted a New Year's Eve banquet under her authority.
