The oldest of the three Ji brothers, a farmer who joins Hu Zhaodi in the mountains to hunt and gather herbs. He is experienced with wild ginseng, Ganoderma lucidum, and Polygonum multiflorum. He participates in the wild boar hunt, using a hatchet to help distract and attack the boar.
