A member of Fagin's gang who leans against walls and tosses stolen coins between his fingers with skill. He is indifferent about doing honest work and dismisses Fagin's factory plan. He gave Oliver a sharp tug to silence him when Oliver wanted to speak about Nancy leaving. He appears to be one of Fagin's more experienced and cynical operatives.
