A subordinate of King Xuan who accompanies him to the outing. He hesitates to approach Xue Qingyin's kite due to embarrassment, later helps in the emergency when she falls ill, and follows King Xuan to the study. He remarks on the withered flower and is puzzled by King Xuan's concern.
