Deng Laosan's son, the second antagonist. He was even more cowardly than his father. He participated in beating Chen Ningya and leaving her in a ditch. In court, he wept and kowtowed, begging Chen Ningya for forgiveness and confessing to the assault while claiming it was an accident. He blamed the kidnapping on his father's orders.
