Also known as the old lady or Da Nian's mother. She is actually Lan'er, the village chief's long-lost sister who was sold as a child. She rescued A-Yue's life and now wants A-Yue to marry her son Da Nian. She lives with her mentally impaired son in a village different from Gujia Village.
