The Fourth Prince, formerly the crown prince. He was the eldest surviving son born to a concubine, named crown prince to counterbalance the power of the noble clans. He committed suicide in the autumn of the twenty-fifth year of Chongyuan. Many of his retainers from humble origins were implicated and executed or exiled after his death.
