A concubine in the imperial harem who holds her son Baocing. Her status and family background are far inferior to the Empress. She worries that if the Empress gives birth to a son, Baocing's position as the eldest son of a lower-ranking consort will become awkward. She hopes the Empress's child will be a daughter.
